Sister Sister is a scent that will take you back to something familiar, that you can't quite put your finger on. A natural blend of rum, lavender and berry musk will have you feeling relaxed, calm and cozy. 

This is a great scent for all the special ladies in your life (sisters included!). This sweet scent is the perfect balance of feminine and musky. Great for people who don't enjoy strong scents.

Each Canadian made soy candle is hand poured into our 8oz signature glass vessel with natural cork lid and has up to a 50 hr burn time. All of our candles at Canvas Candle Company are made with phthalate free and paraben free fragrance, natural essential oil, and lead-free cotton wick.

  • For optimal burning, we recommend burning your candle long enough the entire surface becomes liquid with each burn. This will prevent tunneling in your candle.
  • Before relighting your candle, always be sure to trim your wick to 1/4". This will ensure a longer and cleaner burn while keeping the flame under control.
  • Never leave your candle unattended while burning and always burn your candle on a fire proof surface that is clear of obstructions. 
  • If there is less then 1/2" of wax remaining do not light your candle. Burning with less then 1/2" of wax remaining increases the chances of overheating of the vessel.

Shipping: We are happy to offer Flat Rate shipping within Canada, and Free Shipping if your order qualifies for it. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive your shipping notification with tracking information. We ship all orders using couriers such as Fedex, UPS, Canpar and Purolator. At this time, we cannot ship to PO Boxes and your order will be cancelled if a PO box is added at check out

Returns: Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns at this time. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us with at orders@canvascandleco.com with the following information:

  • Order Number
  • A photo(s) of any damage to the shipping box and/or the product
  • A photo of the packing slip included in your order

No scent, not worth the price

We won’t ever be buying from this company again. We paid $35 for a small candle that we couldn’t smell at all when it was lit. We even had it at the table we were eating at and my husband (who recommended we try it) mentioned he couldnt even smell the candle.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us - I appreciate it as it helps me grow as a business owner and to improve our products. Our Sister Sister scent is one of the lighter scent throw candles, however it is also our best selling scent overall! With soy candles, it's very important to follow the burning instructions clearly so that you can get the full experience of the candles and the scent throw. To get the full experience of the scent throw the candle must be burned until the whole top is liquid wax (Approx 3-4 hours), as the scent in soy candles is activated as the wax becomes liquid. If the whole top isn't liquid before you determine if the scent throw is strong enough then you are not experiencing the full strength of the candle! This is with all soy candles, not just ours. I've sent you an email seperatley to touch base on your review and I hope we can resolve this for you.

Love these, second time ordering

I love these candles and they don’t smoke or leave any residue. My only complaint would be they can burn too slow, needing to burn for a few hours to get an even burn.

My Absolute Favourite!

The perfect blend. I just love the Sister Sister scent - I don't like strong, floral, or too-fruity candles and this one for me is the perfect vibe. It's sensual, gentle, relaxing, and easy. (I recently bought these for my new sisters-in-law as a gift too because of the name.) I also really appreciate the care in packing and shipping, with a little note... was a lovely touch. I try to have these on hand all the time!! Big fan.
