How to Clean Wax Out of Our Candle Vessels

Just because you are done burning your Canvas candle, doesn’t mean the fun has come to an end! We have purposely chosen high-quality, beautiful vessels for our candles so that they can be repurposed after their initial use. 

Studies show that the simple act of seeing something beautiful can benefit your mental health and even speed up the body’s healing process. Amazing, right?! We want the life of our vessels to keep contributing to the beauty of your space. 

We will have a blog coming out soon on ideas for repurposing your vessel, but for today we want to keep it simple with some tips and tricks to get your vessel squeaky clean and ready for its beautiful future in your home.

Step 1: 

Place your candle in a bowl and pour boiling water in until just above the wax line.

Step 2: 

Once the wax is melted, using heat-safe gloves, dump the melted wax from the vessel into the garbage (do not throw wax in the sink).

Step 3: 

Wipe the vessel with a paper towel until there is no remaining wax.

Step 4: 

Place the vessel in a hot bath of soap and water. Gently wash, rinse and air dry.

There you have it; your clean vessels are now a canvas for something new! (haha yes, pun intended!)
